Computing Teacher: Ms Harris
The role of the Computing Department is to provide resources and training in Information Communications Technology for everyone in the school and to offer a variety of courses for those who want to specialise in the study of computers, computer systems and their effects on society. At the higher levels there is emphasis on the design, testing and evaluation of computing solutions. The identification of students needs is an on-going process. As needs arise or change, teaching strategies will be adapted.
The Computing department embraces the following principles
| Resources will be deployed to allow the maximum effect in meeting students' needs | |
| An open approach to meeting pupils needs is required, recognising that a wide variety of needs will require an equally varied set of responses. Also, that individual pupils needs will require individual strategies |
