Biology Teacher: Mrs Morton
It is the aim of the Biology Department to provide:
| To provide a stimulating and interesting approach to the subject so that pupils can gain the knowledge they require and an interest in the subject that they will never lose. |
| To prepare pupils for SQA examinations. |
| To use the courses to encourage pupils to develop an interest in their environment and the plants and animals living there. |
| To develop in pupils the ability to study independently and learn by critical evaluation. |
| To develop in pupils problem solving skills and practical abilities especially those related to scientific investigations. |
